About Me

Dr Showkat: Srinagar, J & K, India; Dr Sheikh Showkat Hussain received his Bachelors degree (B.Sc) from the University of Kashmir, Srinagar, and completed his LLB, LLM and PhD from Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. He taught International Law and Human Rights in Malaysia and is presently teaching same subjects in the University of Kashmir. He has participated in various training programes and workshops concerning his subjects at Strasburgh, Geneva, Ireland, Washington, Maldives, Malaysia, Indonesia and scores of other places. He has authored three books and a number of research articles. He is a regular contributor to English dailies of Kashmir.
